Mr. Shmuel Ben-Tovim
Shmuel Ben-Tovim is the President of Ben-Tovim Consultants Ltd., a business development firm. He is also a founding partner of Kesher Strategy UK LLP, a Senior Consultant at Cornerstone Global Associates Ltd.
From 2005 to 2010 Mr. Ben-Tovim was Minister - Economic Affairs at the Embassy of Israel in London. Previously he had a diversified career in both private and public roles. From 1983 to 1987 he was Assistant Director General of the Bank Leumi Group. In 1987 he established Ben-Tovim Consultants Ltd. as a management consultancy and a PR agency, both internationally affiliated. From 1998 to 2005 he served as Mayor of Kfar Shmaryahu.
Mr. Ben-Tovim began his career with the Ministry of Industry, Trade & Tourism (1974 – 1983). His positions included Israel’s Consul & Trade Commissioner to the USA, based in New York, and the Chief Economic Adviser to the Minister in Jerusalem. He has also served as board member in major Israeli companies, including Bezeq, Israel Chemicals, and the Jerusalem Economic Corporation. He was a board member of the Tel-Aviv Chamber of Commerce, the Israel Export Institute and a co-founder of CJAED - the Center for Jewish-Arab Economic Development.
He holds a BA in Economics and International Relations and an MBA from the Hebrew University. He served in the IDF and is a Major in the reserves.
