About ISRAEL UP CLOSE 2014

Israel Up-Close 2014 is pioneering a new brand of discussion on Israel and the Middle East by bringing firsthand professional analysis to diverse audiences.
 

A global outreach initiative of the Bar-Ilan University School of Communication, Israel Up-Close 2014 comprises a delegation of experts in international politics, economics, women’s rights, law and media. Together they will paint a comprehensive picture of current Middle-East events, with lectures grounded in scholarly research.

The 10-day tour of Atlanta, Dallas and Chicago will include dozens of programs with civic organizations, business forums, academic centers and religious institutions. These events will engage the public in open dialogue on a grassroots level, while delivering fresh insights into the most complex issues facing the region.
